What are movie critics’ favorite films adapted from Library of America classics? In this special holiday LOA LIVE program, five opinionated cinephiles debate the silver screen versions that equal, surpass, or fall fascinatingly (and sometimes hilariously) short of their source material.
Join acclaimed movie mavens Justin Chang, Molly Haskell, Carrie Rickey, Gene Seymour, and Mike Sragow for a lively survey of must-see films based on LOA works: noir masterpieces, historical dramas, gritty Westerns, family sagas, Technicolor musicals, gripping adventures, chilling horror, and much more.
