It’s that time of year again, when we look forward to seeing old friends and making new ones at the Brooklyn Book Festival. You can find us this Sunday, September 22, at Booth #334, near the Columbus Statue Garden, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
We’ll be presenting book signings and discussions, free raffles, and a wide array of Library of America titles (on sale at discount prices) at this year’s Festival. All visitors who spend $25 or more will walk home with our super-stylish new March Sisters tote bag, inspired by Kimberly Glyder’s jacket art (above). Supplies are limited, so be sure to come early if you want to take your LOA haul away in this must-have, highly Instagrammable accessory.
We’re also pleased to announce the following slate of events:
12:30 pm — LOA booth
Kate Bolick, Carmen Maria Machado, and Jenny Zhang will sign copies of their new book March Sisters: On Life, Death, and Little Women
2:00 pm — LOA booth
Editor Brenda Wineapple signs copies of Walt Whitman Speaks
4:00 pm — North Stage, Cadman Plaza East
Panel discussion on The Peanuts Papers with contributors Kevin Powell, Nicole Rudick, David L. Ulin, and Andrew Blauner
(Please note that copies of The Peanuts Papers won’t be available for purchase at our booth, but you can pick up a copy at the 4:00 panel discussion.)
