Plan a gift in your will that will sustain Library of America's future.

By designating a contribution to Library of America in your will, you will have lasting impact on our ability to champion America’s greatest writers and their works.

When you make a bequest or other planned gift, you will become a member of the Richard B. Fisher Society. A passionate reader, Richard B. Fisher (1935–2004) was an investment banking leader and head of Morgan Stanley for many years. His major gift to Library of America became the core of our endowment and inspired the creation of a bequest society in his name.

If your bequest will be for $50,000 or more, you may choose to designate that the gift be used to adopt a volume through our Guardians of American Letters Fund.
